My client is looking for a Facility Manager to oversee a Fulfillment Center in New Westminster, this is more of a Site Manager position - and requires material handling experience and someone who has worked in a manufacturing, logistics or warehousing environment. Ideally the candidate will have worked in a Commercial Facility dealing with Plant Engineering Management, Facility and Maintenance Management. This role requires managerial experience supervising all facility and maintenance functions including utility systems, processing/packaging equipment, and warehousing, building and roof systems and grounds maintenance. Ideally you will have experience managing maintenance teams within an industrial environment.  Must be able to lead a team to insure cost-effective machine reliability and increased production capability, while improving overall plant profitability and quality.  Additional responsibilities include:  budgeting, safety, training, scheduling, quality control, and project Management.
